LEVEL ONE FOCUSING
Join us in learning how you can create a space to deeply listen to your inner and outer world amidst life's challenges; creating transformation. Eugene Gendlin said "the deeper 'in' you go, the wider you can connect."
Many people are very comfortable being with and listening to their body and their awarenesses. For some people, however, it's a very new experience. Whether it comes naturally to you or if it's something you'd like to improve upon, you've come to the right place! Together, we will create a supportive space and a supportive community to be heard, seen and radically accepted. Step-by-step, we will be going through and learning the process of Focusing, as developed by Eugene Gendlin and enhanced by Ann Weiser Cornell.
The course consists of five classes at 2 hours each, 6-8 pm MST, May 22 - June 19. You will be partnered during the class to receive a focusing session. We encourage you to partner again during the week for another Focusing session. All of your course materials, including weekly reading and exercise sheets, are directly from Ann Weiser Cornell's Path to Lasting Change Part One.
We look forward to going on this inner and outer journey of exploration and growth with you! You'll be amazed at the amount of healing that is possible once a person really pauses and senses what is present. Your body, in it's innate intelligence, will show you precisely what's needed for healing. You'll truly begin living your life from a place of ease, presence and confident expression of your true essence.
